Well, if you are in the PNW, you know we just had a pretty serious snow event -- even at sea level. At our house, we got about 4" (give or take). It lasted about a day and a half, but caused many broken branches and power outages due to it being a very wet/heavy snow. The mountains saw several FEET of new snow during this time, which is desperately needed for our snowpack. If you are in another part of the country, you likely have had some serious weather as well. Something about March (in like a lion...) and the Ides I guess.🫤
Per the latest NWMLS (Northwest Multiple Listing Service) report, Spring is shaping up to be a better market for buyers AND sellers than we've seen in a while. For buyers, inventory continues to improve and mortgage rates dropped below 6% for this first time since September of 2022 (check my website for details). For sellers the improving situation for buyers means more buyers are likley to enter the market, so selling may be easier/faster than we've seen lately.
As always, buyers are still buying and sellers are still selling. I'm available to talk about your plans and/or anything I've mentioned above.
Until next month...
