Something from Bob

Well, Fall is upon us and it was 80+ degrees yesterday in the PNW. 🤪 That won't last and we really need the rain that Fall usually brings, so all should be good.

And for buyers, all is getting better -- per the latest NWMLS (Northwest Multiple Listing Service) report. There was a 30% increase in inventory and a slight decrease in sold properties. Those two points mean the market -- as a whole -- is strongly moving toward a balanced market (in some counties, it is definitely a balanced market). Additionally, mortgage rates are SLOWLY moving down. (Mortgage Rates Since 1971) It will be interesting to see what the Fed does to rates later this month.

I realize that not everyone I send this newsletter to is ready for a Continuing Care Retirement Community, but perhaps you have a loved one that is considering it (or you are considering it for them). In any case, I found this article very interesting and thought I'd include it this month.

As always, I'm available to talk about your plans and/or anything I've mentioned above.

Until next month...
